2010-2012
The first project I did for Pfannenberg was designing the new chiller line for the company. When I started we had a total of 8-10 variations of a chiller design that was brought over from our Italian sister company. I took those designs and re-created our own USA standard units that consisted of 2 series, a large and small frame with 3 units in each that covered all capacities we need in our Chiller line.
After completing that project I then started a joint project with our Italian sister company, to design and manufacture a special kind of low cost, smaller frame than our standard units and still a free standing chiller. One of the unique features and one of my hardest design challenges was this front hinged door that would swing open to allow full access to the inside for quick service repair.
